Annecy

This Summer my husband Timo and I wanted to spend our holiday doing Via ferrata routes in Rhone-Alpes. We took our own car and drove South to France. Along the way we stopped at interesting sights, villages and cities.

Before we planned to go to France my employer recommended going to Lake Annecy. The first page of Google image convinced me; Color full houses, small streets set around the beautiful lake of Annecy.
Before we arrived in Annecy with our own car, we stopped at Nancy and Lac du Vouglance. As we had a little delay along the way, we only had an afternoon to wander around this city.

Since it was high season, prices for hotels were steep and we preferred to stay out of the bustling of the city. One night in this city was barely enough to see all the sights and beautiful buildings, but with the time given, it gave a good impression of this beautiful town. We just walked around in the mall streets, amazed by the colors of the houses, but also of the water in the small canals.
